Anybody ever heard of a late 70's Epiphone Genesis solid electric? Mine is
the block inlay Deluxe from 1979....I believe. I have a serial # 0690047
which Wikipedia indicates could be Japanese made due to no alphabet
prefix....just straight numbers. A heavy 10 pounder that sounds better than
my L Paul....sometimes. Open black pu's...perhaps DeMarzio, with coil spit.
Mine is 3 tone sunburst, with gold parts. Came with soft case gold lining,
that is unsafe. I got a regular Epiphone L Paul case that accomodates the
long (Casino style) head. Cost me $463.00 new in Jan. 1980....what would
that come to in today's dollars?
Thanks for your input.>>DANN

Every review I read indicates peole love the sound from this Guitar. I also
see people have payed very little for this guitar second hand. Dont know
why. This guitar might be closet classic someday. >> DANN |

I know what you mean... Price doesn't mean a thing to me. If it sounds good
it's good no matter what the name or price. |
